Role of Universities

Network
of Universities must be formed
❖
Each University must appoint one coordinator to implement all these
activities in the university area with the cooperation of students, Research
scholars and Faculty.
❖
At
least two day must be dedicated to visit the rural villages for effective
planning and solving or finding solutions to their problems.
❖
Universities must shift their
attention towards research on rural development giving practical facts and in
raising awareness on sustainable agricultural practices to be created.
❖
Training the young farmers on natural
farming for producing safe foods with minimum inputs.
❖
Demonstration of standardized
package of organic practices in the selected progressive farmers’ fields.
❖
Faculty and research scholars will
study and design to provide information on the extent of development of direct
marketing.
