Helping the Indian farmers to involve in Direct Marketing of Agri-Food products including online Marketing
MAJOR AREAS 

1.           Local niche markets to be developed
2.           Strengthening Girijan Cooperative Corporation (GCC) network for effective marketing
3.           Encouraging farmers to grow local land races of importance, branding and marketing
4.           Direct sales infrastructure includes signage, point-of-sale displays, Farmers’ Market structures, distribution systems, cooperative marketing networks, trained staff, and communication systems.
5.           Direct Marketing : where gaps  exist, create new programs to support the development of infrastructure to support  direct-farm sales.
6.           Cooperation between all direct-marketing value chain stakeholders to be identified as an important requirement to develop opportunities.
7.           To develop central websites to promote direct-farm marketing in the region linking consumers and local farm products.
8.           Develop maps to help the consumer find direct-farm market sales outlets, sites and markets.
9.           Buying group programs for direct sales and niche marketing
10.        Designing of a website so that they can be made available to direct-farm marketers in all regions.
11.        To develop human resource, marketing-related investments, and to address transportation and distribution challenges.
12.        To identify storage requirements and innovative ways for direct marketers to store and distribute products, and support investment in processing and value-added activities.
13.        To identify major barriers that would benefit most agricultural products, further processed and value-added agri-food products that has substantial potential for expansion based on farmers making rational business decisions to take the necessary steps to move closer to the consumer.
14.        Direct marketing is important to the long-term viability of the agriculture in Andhra Pradesh and  this should be supported by the Government.

Pick- your- own (PYO) fruits and vegetables from the farms near to highways and or from Agri Marketing Centers (AMC) to be established in the Mandal head quarters, where youth can get ample opportunity to get self- employment in picking, cleaning, packing and marketing them online or through  AMC. This way PYO may be popularized and consumers can get better quality fruits and vegetables at a better price in a way that is fun for the whole family! Farmers will get better price for their agri products and agriculture can sustain long
